Marianna hails from Wellesley, Massachusetts. She moved to the Midwest to attend St. Louis University, where she studied Theatre and German Studies. Her first job was a Teaching Fulbright to Austria, where she worked as a TA for 2 years at the high school level. She remained another 3 years working on stage with The International Theatre.
Being accepted into the University of Washington Professional Actor Training Program is what drew her back to the US, and to the Pacific Northwest.
After completing her MFA in performance, Marianna began coaching dialect at theaters around the Puget Sound region. From there, she extended her services to address similar needs in other industries beyond the arts. Individual clients include teachers, engineers, accountants, scientists, actors, financial advisors, librarians, medical practitioners, religious leaders, and more (Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Tableau, the Archdiocese of Seattle, WeWork Corporate, Pretty Books Accounting and the UW Law Librarianship Program, etc). She has coached presenters at many Microsoft conferences, the well-known Tableau Conference, GitHub, AWS re:invent and others, both in Seattle and on-site at the conferences.
Marianna lives in Kenmore, WA with her husband. When not involved in some aspect of performing, she enjoys dancing, walking in the woods, and chatting with family across the country.
